Youth Coordinator – Summer Art Camp

Hourly Rate: $30/hour

Location: Sebastopol Center for the Arts

Employment Type: Seasonal / Part-Time

Dates: Mon-Fri, June 23 - July 11, 2025 (No class July 3-4)

Are you passionate about youth development, creativity, and summer fun? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organized Youth Coordinator to lead and support our Summer Art Camp for kids ages 7-12!

About the Role:

As our Youth Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and inspiring camp environment. You’ll oversee day-to-day camp operations, support teaching artists, manage youth participants, and help ensure that each camper has a safe and enriching experience.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily activities and schedules for youth art programming

Supervise and engage with campers, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment

Support teaching artists with materials prep, transitions, and group management

Communicate with parents and guardians as needed

Lead by example in promoting creativity, respect, and teamwork

Assist with documentation (photos, camper feedback, etc.)

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years experience working with youth, especially in arts or education settings

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Friendly, proactive, and reliable

CPR/First Aid certification a plus
