Thiebaud and Stone: A Visionary Partnership
Exhibition Dates: Jan 10th, 2026-March 8th, 2026

The exhibition will consist of etchings and lithographs by California artist Wayne Thiebaud.

Allan Stone, New York gallerist, gave Wayne Thiebaud his first significant gallery exhibition. The bond they formed lasted for decades, until Allan Stone’s death in 2006. Through Allan Stone, Thiebaud met other prominent artists, including Arshile Gorky, Willem de Kooning, Alfred Leslie and John Graham--- artists who had an influence on Thiebaud. This exhibition is drawn primarily from the private collections of his daughters Heather Stone and Jeremy Stone. The focus of the exhibition will be the prints of Wayne Thiebaud, with an emphasis on the relationship between Thiebaud and Allan Stone.
