County offers a multitude of exciting opportunities to study visual, performing
and literary arts. Of these, Sebastopol Center for the Arts (SCA) is one
of the County's most popular and successful arts' education venues. SCA
is committed to providing quality, comprehensive art programming which
includes exhibits, public events and performances, and an extensive arts
education curriculum. Throughout the year, the Center offers dozens of
classes for students of all ages in a variety of art disciplines in a
fabulous facility specifically designed for "making art happen."
TEACHING STUDIOS
Classes are taught by qualified artists and professionals, and are held
in one of 4 well-appointed teaching studios.
- Library - Serves as a comfortable space for literary, writing
and music appreciation courses.
- Music/Movement Studio - With its bamboo floor, piano, platform
staging and special lighting, this studio accommodates numerous dance,
movement and singing classes, recitals and salon-style performances.
- Ceramic Studio - Features 8 potter's wheels and 3 kilns, and
is one of the few public facilities in the County open to the public
for ceramic hand-building, sculptural and wheel work.
- Painting/Drawing Studio - A large, well-lit and highly versatile
studio where students enjoy a variety of classes in painting, drawing,
pastel, watercolor, figure study, jewelry making, fiber arts, fused
glass and do-it-yourself framing.

Share your special knowledge and skill with others by offering a class
or workshop at Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Instructors enjoy the benefits
of extensive marketing, excellent studio accommodations, staff support,

RENT SPACE AT THE ART CENTER
The Art Center has terrific spaces available to rent at reasonable rates
for meetings, workshops, performances, presentations or recitals. Numerous
studios, meeting rooms, service kitchen and equipment options make this
an ideal place to hold your next business, education or artistic event
